Our passenger ship "Möwe" was produced 1982 in the Lux-Shipyard (Germany, Mondorf). The length is 19.50 meters
and the width is 5.10 meters. It is designed for 100 passengers. 55 seats are available on the lower deck and
75 seats available on the sun deck. In winter 2001/2002 the ship was modified with a new eco friendly and
gentle diesel. The new 6 cylinder turbo-machine was made by Deutz. The power of the engine is 182 kW. As a
result of the power transmitter - a Ruder-Schottel-Propeller - the ship is controllable very well.
Early in the year 1950 Pius Giess - the founder of the company - starts to carry passengers on the Bodensee.
The first ship named "Alma" was a modified trawler. In this days the departure was in Überlingen.
But the ship was to small and so we need a new one called "Bodan". Only a few years later the "Wallhausen" was
our new passenger ship. In the year 1975 I was the new owner of the ship and the company. The ship was
sold to Israel in the year 1982.
